Anand Institute of Management was under the overall guidance of board of Directors comprising of leading engineers, consultants, industrialists and corporate executives of India.

Anand Institute of Management, Bhopal was established by Center of Human Initiative & Educational Furtherance (CHIEF) as a management institution which is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Recognised by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Govt of Madhya Pradesh & Affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal. The college functions under the overall administrative control of Board of Directors.
